Thanks so much for being there for us MKV folks. The cabin filtre replacement on the Jetta 2006 is sooooo easily done, and should be a 20,000 mile maintenance or [seasonally] ea. 1 year. We changed our cabin filtre at 88,000 miles and it was absolutely trashed. Noticed huge performance gains in the A/C and general quality of econo-fan operation once the new one was installed.
